Research suggests that there is a strong correlation between teacher preparation, including professional development, and student achievement specifically in reading and mathematics. NYSACE is offering an opportunity to win a full free registration to our Annual NYSACE Conference.
1. Applicants must submit a proposal of how they will implement information obtained at our 2009 NYSACE Annual Conference.
2. Applicants must be willing to present at the 2010 annual conference and/or submit a CD/video of their implementation project. Presentations may address innovative ideas, instructional strategies and/or practices for the elementary/secondary teacher or for the administrator. (Presenters do not have to be NYSACE members. Please share this proposal with colleagues.)
